WirePlus or DBM Replacement for EHC

No functions are lost with wire-plus, but you loose the emergency flashers and automatic turn signal cancelling feature with the PDM

I am installing my Wire plus with Jakes help... poor guy I have sent him so many emails.. but he always puts me back on the right track... almost done.... I pondered about the PDM also and decided to go with the wire plus.. more support. plus I like all the features and would not want to lose any!!!!

If you stay on it you can do it in a day.. but I am taking my time.... reading... emailing Jake with questions if I am not sure... I do a little after work each day... Started it last Saturday..... The hardest part is getting the nerve to get started... the instructions are very graphic and easy to follow... I took a marker and labeled the 3 switches first of all... made it so much easier.... for a newbie like me.... I am at the last part now where I install the switch (sportster style) ... like Jake told me.... its easy.... just start it...:flag:

What were the cranking amps of the new battery? You should have at a minimum 310 CCA IMHO.

:lol: when we did the Wire Plus on my scoot, my bike was running fine...no problems....I got in on the group buy back in Jan. and bought it for peace of mind.... its a great feeling to be EHC free!!

I just looked at you pictures, did you have to replace the breaker with a fuse or is this just something you just wanted to do instead of keeping the breaker?
