I am in chicago. Where can I service my Big Dog in Chicago?
There is a BG dealer called Hollywood Cycle nearby, but I heard bad references of the place. Could some experts from this site recommend a professional shop that specializes in servicing Big Dogs in chicago or surroundings.

Thanks!

1) My dealer -- I bought my K9 there, and they do excellent service:
Milwaukee Area Motorcycle Dealer, Preowned Motorcycles, ATVs, Snowmobiles, Sales, Service, Parts, Accessories, Jamie’s Customs & Powersports Big Bend

2) If you don't want to travel that far, I've heard this guy is worth a shot:
The Cleanest Custom Choppers in the Midwest - Johnny Legend Customs - Wheaton, Illinois

3) I'd steer clear of Hollywood Cycles....'nuf said!

4) Learning to do routine service items on our own is a good idea for ALL of us, especially now that BDM no longer manufactures bikes nor supports warranty nor a dealer network.

I got few issues to fix.

1. Few electrical wires need to be replaced. Original wires melted under the bike. I posted to the board description here:
http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/general/25538-08-ridgeback-fire-never-again.html

2. Clutch adjustments. Bike gets stuck in 5th gear, will upshift and but wont downshift.

Simple things like oil changes and maintenance I could do myself, but due to lack of mechanical experience would need to reach out to the pro mechanic for help with above repairs.

Plenty of info here to do it yurself. U:2thumbs:

What exactly do you need done?
