After much internet surfing, and phone calls to electrical supply stores I found a source for the JST connectors BD uses in the electrical system. These little shit’s are not available at any electronics store I contacted. You can find them through Radio Control web sites but the selection is limited usually to a 2 connector plug only, no individual parts.

Paste below link in your browser for the specific items I am talking about. Click on the PDF at the bottom right for additional information and part numbers.
J.S.T. Mfg. Co., Ltd.

For some of you it may be easier to just buy these through your dealer or Nelson. I believe you can get these individually or in kits but they are not cheap! Nelson chime in any time on what you have available and the cost... The link above gives you JUST part numbers for all the components used on our bikes. They are available from Digi-Key Corporation - USA Home Page or call them at 800-344-4539 or through US - Electronic Components Distributor | Newark.com.

I phoned digikey, they had great customer service and the price on the little receptacles that crimp on to the wires Part# SWPR-001T-P025 if your looking at the PDF from above are .08 each and go down in price at 100 count & 500 count.

Here is the problem, the hand held crimp tool to crimp these little suckers on is $385 bucks!!! I know some folks on this forum have purchased and installed these little connectors, can any of you enlighten the rest of us how you crimped them on.

Rick I have used the tool that you are talking about. This is used in heavy equipment from what i have seen they use Deutsch connectors .The jt series is alot smaller connector but they share the same tool for crimping.I have been told that small wires like we have they dont want you to use solder. Not sure why.these water tite connectors that deutsch have are a little larger than jt series. here is a cheaper place to buy tooling.Deutsch Connector Tools 05chop
