I haven't got much powder coat left on the bottom of either side. Some titanium skid plates sound pretty damn good to me versus continuing to thin my frame rails though....:bang:

Google helicopter tape. Use it on the lambo and F car on the spoilers. Like 3m clear bra but very thick. Used on the leading edge of rotor blades to protect from nics, scratch, debris. In fact i have some extra in garage now. Ill do my frame and post. Cant post now - wheels being powder coated

Interesting idea, but I'm gonna guess helicopter blades don't come into contact with concrete and asphalt on daily basis....

Yeah, but my F-car sits so low that i have to enter any driveway at an angle or the spoiler rubs and its fiberglass. This stuff you can pound with a hamer and all the guys in the club use it.

I think it comes in 2 sizes, 3 ml and 5 ml, the thiner the clearer. You can cut it to any size and shape and just sticks on

Damn those things bring back memories and I'm not sure their all good. As I recall those were used so as to not scrape up the wide-wide white walls on the 63 Buick Electra 225(Duece and a Quarter!). If memory serves me.
Now to install them on a Big Dog would require a person of special skills.
Is RubWhore in the building?:roll::roll:

I remember here is a guy who put clear hose pieces to protect the foot controls, I bet he can hook ya up!

Ohhhhh.........that was me...............you do know that I took them all off after it was delicately and diplomatically explained to me how FUGLY they made my bike look!!! It's nice to see that friends don't let friends ride FUGLY!!!
