The springs that are in our bikes are suitable for the .600,but no more. Anthony(aka RAZOR) has done alot of research on this and has installed the .600 on over 20 bikes in the past 2 years without any problems. Going with bigger springs on a .600 is just someones opinion,and S&S tech dept says it was best,since the 117 was built around the .600 to start with.

Nuke, I think that the .585 comes standard. I think that its beacuse it is emissions legal.

546 cam stock. yes, you can the cam for a 600 or a 585 without changnig springs as long as you DONT have the beehive springs!!! just remenber you are at the limits of the springs changing them to 650 springs in not a bad idea!!! souns great have fun with it this summer!!!

Damn that sounds great! I was going to go with the 585 for a bit more lower end. Let us know if you feel a loss in lower end torque and also a noticable increase in fuel consumption.
