Hopefully I made the right choice w/polished tribal forward controls...my tribal pegs are chrome. Parts started arriving yesterday. With any luck I'll be assembling the goods this weekend.

I went with the tribals because they match the wheels on an 06 - went with chrome because I'm tired of cutting myself when polishing billet - chrome is wipe and go...

No Chris - Why, do you think it will look wrong? The controls are polished nearly to chrome . .

I might switch them over to polished because there may be a delay on the chrome and polished is available now...

Your thoughts please...

I know Lambo... its good as long as you stay on top of the polishing and keep them looking like chrome.

If you have any down time I would just send your controls out to chrome...

UPDATE ON THE CHROME VERSIONS

Just got confirmation from Big Dog that the chrome versions of the Vision and Tribal control arms will be shipping in February.

VISION ARMS (chrome) are scheduled for shipping on 2/4
TRIBAL ARMS (chrome) are scheduled for shipping on 2/12

For those of you who currently have orders pending on the chrome versions, if you want to switch to the Polished version, OR if you don't want to wait, please email me directly at sales@wbcycles.com

Nelson...just received my new polished tribal arms...they look wicked and yes they look chrome in the package. I can't wait to get home and install everthing this weekend...tribal pegs, grips and forward controls...it's all in and life is good!

How does the chrome hold up compared to the aluminum when it comes to pitting? I noticed my controls have some pitting after only 2800 miles.
AZ has a lot of rocks and sand on the road.

I don't think its "softer" than the straight alum ... so would guess its just like adding another layer of protection. Anything that takes a rock will pit though of course.

Guess we should have expected THIS one:job: , but BDM is now pushing back the shipping on the chrome versions of the Tribal and Vision arms to next week.:bang:

Polished versions have been shipping (I think you guys have seen them on some posts already).

Wanted to give you the heads up as I get the info !
