Well good that you had it checked.

Unfortunately I work way out of the area otherwise I would shoot over your way sooner. Are you working on Friday, for I may be able to make it that way Friday right after noon.

It depends on when I can get out of work (I work near Abeerdeen MD a 120 commute each way to home) on Friday, barring if I make it in on Friday. Trying to get 4 10, do some Irish roots celebrating on Thursday and shoot home early Friday morning.

Do you plan to be in home area Friday or will you be working? If not Friday, next day would be Sunday! Let me know!

Dammit Snake,
I did that 120 mile commute for 2 years when I married.:bang: Just last year moved back to my house.....and brought the wife.:D I feel for ya! Must be love because that kinda drive ain't worth money. Damn near killed me, 8 hour work day and 4 hours driving. I won't do that again for love nor money. :job: Hang in there dude!!!!!!!:whoop::cheers:

BadBrad,

The 2 hour pluas commutes each way do tend to get to one for sure. I should only have a few more weeks of doing such and then my next commute will be more like 8,000 miles-though I will not be driving and I will not do it every day!!!!

With the economy the way it is and my line of work, it is just part of the job. Does take the wear and tear on the body and stress on family, but been blessed with a great wife and understanding family, so that does make it easier.

The weather is looking great for Thursday and Friday, so may ride the MC in the last two days of the week!

Best to you and yours. Have a great day and be safe!

Fiber I'm off Friday if it works for you cool...... If not Sunday could work as well in the morning...... We spoke while I have was in Iraq and I have been home for 3weeks and this is the last week of my downtime before getting back to the working world....... I appreciate your help

OK, the battery is fine. Did you double and triple check the connections at the battery and EHC? Still no lights? It doesn't hurt to disconnect and reconnect connections as some times a pin just may not be touching.

I did double check the battery connections as well as the ehc power and ground but did not try the actual ehc connection.... I will try that next

i don't know for sure but could he try a push start, i've heard of bad spots in a starter before and they just needed a bump before to start to turn again, easy , cheap, worth a try?

I think you guys have missed the issue of no ehc lights, no headlight, etc....

You need the ehc before you can push start it.

gunna be straight up. I am learning everyday on the forum. Dont know very much. Just trying to help. Best knowledge in the world. I dont know for sure what it is called (module???), but should be mounted close to the ehc. mine tripped the other day bc i was trying to start the scoot with a week battery. There is a small black pin that popped out on the bottom of this module. I guess it is a trip style fuse that u can reset by pushing the black pin back in to reset. Worth a try. Good luck.

Your referring to the curcuit breaker that most of the later models have been changed to the fuse as it burns out faster if needed.

Great thought though if he still has the CB :2thumbs:

Yes I have one and it looks like the black pin is popped out but I push it in and it doesn't stay in...... Does if have to stay in to reset? Also new development..... I turn the switch on this morning and my headlight came on for a split second then out again.....

Sounds like the CB might need to be replaced. I believe the reset switch should stay in.

Earl is right! The switch should stay in once you reset it. Get that replaced and let us know if it fixed your problem.

Sure thing....... Will get a new one tomorrow........ Keep yours fingers crossed fellas....... Damn I want to ride today..... It's beautiful

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade here but if that breaker is popping dosen't have to mean it's bad, could be something popping it right?

Oh one question, did your headlight come on for the split second before or after you tried resetting the breaker? One more what EHC do you have?

If he's lucky the battery was low due to sitting all winter on the tender. When he tried to start it the voltage dropped far enough for the
cb to trip. Those CB's have always been kinda cheesy. Also the CB could be doin its job and tripping due to a bad module.
