Daytona clean-up.

Cleaned the bike up yesterday after returning from Daytona. Didn't even ride in the rain and it was a real mess.

Even though the Florida coast guys have good riding weather, I don't envy them when it comes to clean up after being in the salt air slime.

I completely understand the reason some are going back to billet. I had rust in some chrome fittings after being there for 1 week.

Any new guys from coastal areas should heed their warnings and go with billet where possible.

not to mention all the sand. "damn sand gets in all the holes". try riding all the time with sand hitting you in the face, not to mention all the damn lovebugs.

I've taken half the chrome off my bike and replaced with polished billet parts. The rest will start to get powder coated black satin finish soon.

South Fl here!
