Got to remember that you don't have a ordinary bike it's not a cookie cutter bike so parts are gonna cost more. I think we all knew it would be that way when we bought em and we just accepted it.

How is the customer service/shipping with them? The website is a little shady with the mis spelled words etc but i want to buy some new grips,pegs etc?

The guy I dealt with, Miguel, was top notch. My stuff was shipped very quickly. If I ever decide to change pegs and grips again, I wouldn't hesitate to do business with these guys.

It's not really getting bent over. It is one of the joys of owning a Big Dog. Alot of parts on our Dogs are proprietary and guys like myself that make parts for them are only limited to selling to the few hundreds of guys or maybe even a thousand or two depending on the product.

When running only a few hundred parts or maybe a couple thousand, the cost is way higher than these companies that made Harley style grips and pags that produce and sell tens of thousands.

Like my Gas caps for the Dogs, BDM is the only thing they fit, so over a few years I have only sold maybe 200 gas caps. Versus if they fit a Harley, I would have probably went nuts trying to keep up making them.

So that is why we pay more for some of the parts for our Dogs:D

I think his products are sweet, but it's a rip off for sure. $600 for a set of pegs/grips? :job: I think not. If you want to throw your hard earned money away, then I will gladly accept paypal, money orders, cashiers checks, food stamps? LOL :lol::lol:

I got your back marc0nline. :cheers: Just b/c we bought a premium bike doesn't mean we should get shafted every time we have to buy something. The Harley guys get shafted on Harley-branded parts but at least they have generic knock offs they can take advantage of too! :up:

Jake is right on with the explanation. My set from DLX is the Coolest and Cool ain't cheap. Same with the Gas Cap and stuff from Jake, it's just BAD in the off season I put it on a chain and wear it for Bling:2thumbs:


But that's just me:roll:

hERES THE OTHER POINT.....FIRST INITIAL THING ANYONE WANTS TO DO TO BIKE IS PERSONALIZE IT ,IT ANYWAY SHAPE OR FORM sorry caps........so they go buy some goodies after a week or 2 they then find something else kooler to replace the part they allready replaced....so you have now spent double for some grips and have 2 sets....I will tell you if you buy your pegs and grips from this place you will be done and wont need to buy another set because they are the best looking,best quality out there.....so just nip it in the bud and spend the bigger wad now and be done.........good service,good quality,good product....................

Great product have had 3 different sets of pegs and grips with no problems beats the heck out of BDM grips and pegs that the rubber wears out or falls off in a matter of months.As for price you get what you pay for.
