Yes it should have one in the top of each cylinder head. Looks like a condom over in the middle of the rocker box. They are hooked to the electrical sytem unless they have been previously molested.

Make damn sure you're not giving the motor any gas while pushing the start button. This will increase compression and make it harder to turn over and wear out your starter prematurely. Also, avoid using the enrichener at all possible costs. Some may refer to this as "the choke", but it's not a choke. Many have experienced fouling of plugs when using the enrichener. Most never use it. If it's still turning over hard, maybe it's time to look at getting a new battery. Have you done your intro yet? Inquirey minds want to know.

will not hurt anything if you manually depress the comp. rel. before you try to start the bike. if it makes it a lot easier to turn over, they may be clogged with carbon.

What Wood said you can push down on them to make sure they are working. Also make sure you keep your battery on a batt tender to make sure it stays well charged.

And when its runnin ya may want to check the volts back to the batt should be gettin better than 14 volts

I push mine to make it easier to start, mainly when engine is hot. Like just after getting fuel.
