I had a long day of wiring on Carlos bike down here. He had these little itty bitty tail lights that didn't work (you can see this in my Chihuahua vid). So Five Five was gratious (sp?) enough to send us his stock lens. The small lites had four wire and our stock ones only three so I pulled the fender and struts off and started replacing the wires. Lots of soldering and shrink tubing but got it done. Horn wire was broke also so fixed that. The wires were only twisted and taped so now he has a good wiring job that wont come apart. His headlight socket didn't work either, too hot of bulb melted it (90/100) so fixed this socket and put a Phillips britelight bulb in it and my bike too. Anyway he's good to go now and im wore out. I hate wiring!!!!! :)

I know another Ray who dislikes wiring as well. But mostly because I can barely see those tiny wires. I have the patience to do it, but kind of dread it everytime I have too.
I bet Carlos really appreciated you fixing it for him too. But wiring takes patience, occasionally talking :rant:to it helps me too! Just when I think I forgot how to cuss, wiring something in tight spaces all helps me remember!

Your Flamed paint job looks great Ray,

Here are some pics. Wiring came out great and all the lights work (thank god, It's my reputation here!!!!). You see the smaller lights on top of the rear fender. Followed up with a little BBQ Mexican style. :D:D:D

I feel your pain Ray. I had to fix my brake lights yesterday so went through similar things. Stripping, connecting, soldering and shrink wrapping in a space where you can hardly get your fingers into is interesting...

I was wondering if you can help me.I shorted out my right side turn signals front and back trying to install the orignal turn signals to pass inspection here in delaware.I think I did not have a good ground contact. Is there a fuse anywhere that might have blown?

No fuses, I would check the connections to ensure your getting a good signal. Those little wires are a pain.

Does everything connect inside the headlight.I disconnected the led lamp and reconnected the old ones and it worked but then I pulled on the wire to get more play and it stopped working. The back doesn't work either so i guess that means they are in series with each other.
