Lol I have no idea. Maybe something that got dropped in there during assembly? What are the silver things inside, and why do they look all peened? Does the bottom or top look like it was broken off?

Its one of those stupid fuel enhancers that claim to increase your mileage but forget what the actual name of them are

It is a plastic housing with what I think are aluminum weights. They are rough on one side and smooth and tapered on the bottom and settle onto their "shelf/ring" when they settle. They are heavy and do not appear to float. I thought the noise originally was my vent tube but it is actually still welded in place. Hey Ray is it seriously one of those fuel enhancers? Did you get your tins back yet?

Thanks for the help as always!

Old style flames will be cool. What color flames?

Thanks Ray and V!! Spot on with that!! I checked their website. This thing was driving me nuts. I was ready to disassemble the petcock to see if it was some weird part of it.

Looks like the peening is erosion, that part must be working:D there is liquids on the market for enhancing octane and for helping with the ethanol/gas. Don't know if any of it works but we use the stabil in our boat motors. anything rolling around in your tank can't be good.

I wonder if it would stay on the other side of the hump in the bottom of the tank away from the fuel strainer. I will probably leave it out. I want to see if there is a difference with it out.
