No it is actually bolted to the sissy bar plate,
It unbolts easy for my big bag to go on.

Thanks to biker babe. She told me how to post pics from my phone.
She is one smart lady.
I want to get some good shots when the weather is nice.

There is a way to do what you are saying without using acrylic lacquer. My dad has a street rod shop and has been doing custom paint work for years. He currently uses all PPG products. What we have done on the most recent jobs with any stripes, flames or anything else we wanted under the clear is once the base is down go back and put a clear base back over it. We put a couple of coats of that and lightly wet sand that before putting the catalyzed clear on it. Have to be careful when using pearls and candy colors not to go through that base clear but we have had a great deal of success with this. The local PPG rep was who turned us onto this.

I think it looks great. Tell me something, after you get your graphics on the part, do you start shooting clear acrylic lacquer over the graphics until you can color sand the clear totally flat over the graphics, then shoot the catalyzed clear over that?

Looks great!!!! :2thumbs: We use that 2021 clear also. Just have to get it color sanded and buffed before 72 hours or it gets to be like buffing concrete.
