Ok, so I can't make up my mind on what to go with. And thanks to alhall88 for posting the pics of the new BDM Fwd Control Arms now available, I'm really confused:bang: :bang: :bang: . Here are my options:

I'm sold on the Tribal Arms but which grip / peg set would look best with them:

1. The Tribal set shown in the pic with the Arms.
2. The Roulette's. Probably the best for comfort because of the rubber.
3. The Twists. Just another one I like.

Here is a pic of my bike when I first bought it to show what I'm working with. The exhaust is now a black Phantom and the intake is a spike.

Thanks.

I am always thinking what would be best for the long haul, so I voted The Roulette's.
Otherwise, the Tribal's.

Good luck, and we will need pic's of course...

See Ya!

I voted the Roulette's...cause thats what I am going to go with sometime this year....The Roulette's would look sick with those new Tribal arms ....I think...IMO

I won't be much help, I agree with everything you said...

I like the roulettes to help keep my feet on...
The twists look really good...

Personally, I really like the twisties, Mario. They are shaped exactly the same as the ones I have - except the pattern on mine is flames.

Lots of people have commented on how there is a tendency for their feet to slip off the end of the all-metal pegs. My pegs have a cut-in, or concave shape, which I find helps keep my feet inboard, especially if I wear decent boots. They still might not be my first choice if I was riding long distances, but I do find them perfectly comfortable.

mario - I feel your pain :)

I've had all the above - I tried 6 different types. Here's a tip:

1. The Tibals look great - but no rubber for a long trip.
2. Solution - go to any parts shop that has a custom chrome catalog. You can get generic rubber foot pegs replacements. The look like a fat o-ring and you can slip them over the Tribals - two on each peg. Look at the peg and you will see how it has a "curve" - you slip them on right there - viola!

Thick enough to may contact with your foot - slip them off when you want the bar hopper look.

If you go with the Tribals and can't find the rubbers I'm talking about, pm me and I'll send you (free) some that I have left over.

I have the flame metal pegs and they kill my legs at high speeds trying to keep my feet on them. Rubbers for my next set probably the Kury Flame pegs with stirrups

If you go Tribal, git a different shifter peg - the knurled part tears up the toe of your boot... Can't say name of shop, but look in Ft. Lauderdale, he makes a very close "Tribal" match, but they're smooth...

Background Noise: On Hardley-dam-Davidson, have Accutronix Tribal forword controls with Kuryakyn Stilletto pegs/stirrups, knurled brake peg and above noted shifter peg. Long trips very comfortable, and I'm a certified Old Fart.

Does anyone ride these grips and pegs? I'm looking to dress up my grips and pegs and all the really cool looking tribal seem to be more show that user friendly. (Big Dog Motorcycle Grips)

Also, yesterday someone on the forum advertised their shop was getting the new tribal forward controls...I'm very interested in pre-ordering but I can't find the thread...please send me a PM.

You da' man thanks...any opinion on chrome or polished? I tend to go polished..:flag:
I know if you go polished.......it will match the carriers and master cylinder...it won't look like a chrome /polished combo....Ray was talking about this in that thread.......
