Oil cooler install

Need some help guys i have purchased a BD oil cooler with no instructions or lines & fittings. Does antone have the instructions or any help would be greatly appreciated. I have done a search but couldn't find anything.Its for my mutt. THANKS

Hey PurpleDog, had done a great "how to" before the site got rebuilt. You can try and PM him or if ya want I can email the doc to ya, I saved a copy. It's for a K9 but the same general instructions should work.. along with embedded photos.

Photos would be great brooks if you get a chance, just need to know where the lines run i think one goes from the filter housing to the cooler and then from the cooler to the return on the tank does it matter which hole on the filter these lines run and if so how do i tell which hole is the input and which is the return i will fit it tonite and measure what lenght lines i need if im correct as in where they go.
I also need to know the size of the line and fittings i need.Thanks for such a quick response guys.

DAMN WHAT DICKHEAD I AM..... Sorry Darren I haven't checked this thread again until today. I would have gladly taken some pictures. Really, my bad man, I hate to be that guy that promise shit and doesn't deliver. I am away from home now on a work trip but if you still need a picture of the oil cooler hook up, I'm sure we can get someone to send you one. Again sincere appologies for non-responsiveness.

Thanks Jim ive been away for a bit ill get this install over and done with this weekend one more question on the longest line can you buy a connecter to jion 2 lines together or do i need to buy a really long oil line.

You need an -AN6 union I believe to join the new line to the existing return that you will disconnect from the filter housing. One line is line is like 9 or 10 inch and the other seems like it was around 20" ish on my K9...

I sent someone all the details with measurements for a K9, I can't remember right now.

Are all S&S motor oil feeds and returns routed this way ? I have a 96 S&S and gonna install an oil cooler today. First time installer and just wanted to be 100% sure before screwing up something.
