BIG DOG TOP SPEED QUESTION?

Happy Holidays To All!
Question, Where do we stand on top-speed on Big Dogs for performance? Got a bagger and put it at 80 at a real quick ratio. Wanted more but, my conservative views wanted a bit of security hearing from fellow members regarding their experiences. My last bike was a pumped Road Glide and it cruised like a dream at 100. Tell me your thoughts experiences etc...:)

Had mine at 110 on a straight shot, bike was solid and still lots more power to go, but a curve was coming up and I didn't feel safe enough to take the curve going that fast...:D

110-125 loaded with full camp gear for entire tank of fuel. No issues. Check out Raywoods video of 100 Years of Motorcycling.

Others have gone much faster

Did a 13 state 7000 mile trip with Kaptian Amerika a few months ago and we averaged about 95 miles per hour the whole trip and at some points were cruising at over 120 mph.

Have had my K9 past 120 many times. The needle does keep going after 120 mph. On straigth aways the dog tracks straight and rides good. In turns above 100 there is a slight wobble in my k9 and it becomes worse if there is bumps in the road.

I've had mine cruising at 101 just for shits and giggles, With plenty of power left. I weigh 275lbs and the only thing that keeps me from trying to pin it is the fact that I feel like a parachute is trying to pull me off the bike. lol

I am not a speed freak anymore :D , but I would almost bet there is plenty after 110 if you can hold on to it. I would only get into it on a smooth , straight road. I am pretty sure my son in laws Suzuki 1000 will get 120 in second gear,n fact I know it will, the person riding it ran out of straight road :eek:

Received my 08 Pitbull today.

Will let you know how fast my balls will let me go on German Autobahn with NO speed limit - on a rigid bike :loony: :lol:.

Will have to wait for breaking in the engine and for spring - snow here :rolleyes:.

585 cam sittin here together with K&N, several jets and waitin for open pipes......

on a straight road had the 2007 k9 to 145 mph! clocked by porsche 935.
once is enough!!:eek::loony::D:roll::roll::roll:

dont know how fast i was going but my buddy was goin 105 and I caught and passed him like he was sittin still!!!
