If its stock

9.6/1 Compression (i think)
Comp cams .569 cam.
Comp cam valve springs
Hydralic lifters
TP rocker boxes
4 3/8 stroke
4 1/8 bore
Valves may be a bit smaller than stock 117
Cylinders are .040 taller than stock to reduce compression ratio from original 10.2/1

don't forget that along with the E carb there were also restricter plates between the intake and the jugs. these can be removed/ modified for better A/F flow.

yes...ive removed the restrictor plates and rejetted for the V&H 2into2 pipes...got a S&S dual K&N airfilter commin...i like the E carb but am wondering if the XXX G would make a difference considering the small valve heads.....any thoughts?

the triple x G is quite a big carb that will flow a lot of air (higher top end hp) but at the expense of air velocity (sacrifice on the lower end). Small valves kind of do the opposite. If you want the top end and go XXX G you may as well get the larger valves as well. Its all about matching up the components
