Shaking/Rattling/Rolling
armad; at 5,000mi. you have hardly "broken-in" that big S&S motor. If, as you have mentioned, the jetting is a "little lean", you are playing with fire. The ethanol forced on us is a dangerous commodity but we must use in what the EPA tells us is "gasoline"--HA! This additive will cause, among other things, a leaning condition, less power, and the "fuel" will wash the oil off of the cylinder walls. These are the same cylinder walls which the piston rings need that fine coating of oil to survivel. So armad be careful about "lugging" your beautiful V-Twin no matter how good that it sounds and enjoy many trouble free years of enjoyable riding.

P.S. The Young of Today Would Go Nuts Over 60`s Gasoline, but the only bad thing about it was the tetra-ethyl lead which was used to lube the valve stems.
