factory options

Hello all,

I have a 2004 Chopper DT. I'm the second owner, but have no info on the original owner. My question is, did BDM configure their bikes with "factory" options other than paint levels and chrome packages? Take my ride for instance, when I bought it, it had the Supertrapp Mean Mothers 2-2 exhaust and the S&S Teardrop air cleaner. Everything else on the bike (as best I can tell) is factory.
Now, I have seen many stock 2004 Choppers with the Kerker 2-1 exhaust and the BDM air cleaner.
If you look at the BDM website under the accessories tab- 2004 models- Chopper DT or RT, the pictures of those bikes have the Supertrapp Mean Mothers with the standard BDM air cleaner.
Soooo, what gives?

The Kerker 2 into 1 header was standard on the 04 choppers. The mean mothers were an aftermarket item that was an aftermarket option that you could buy after bike purchase. In 04 you could however get the hooligan wheel package and the polished 117 motor as factory installed options.
