Air ride install on my 08' Pitbull - w/ PICTURES

I've looked at the Paul Cox Rigidaire, different kits on many of the forums, etc.......
I finally bought a system very simular to the Rigidaire. Finishing install this weekend. I will post pictures Monday. I would have bought the system from Paul Cox, but phone calls and emails were never returned. I found what I believe to be a better system for much less.
I will also post information on the kit in case anyone is interested, along with pictures Monday.

- Here are a few pictures. You can see in the first picture where the compressor is mounted under the battery. Next is a top view of the air bags. One blew and was replaced - hence the "topless" one. Next a closer view of the switch and finally the finished product.

ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THE RIDE IS AWESOME!

I will have to buy for my 08 Pitbull, that is still sitting in FLorida and waiting to be shipped to Germany
a) the 180 BD springs
b) the whole system from Chopper Shox Deuce Polished Copper shox
c) the system you're testing ;) .

I've tried Chopper Shox. Due to them being shorter than the factory shocks, they will not work with your factory seat. You will have to modify the seat. I bought a slightly smaller seat and even modified my seat to fit. I wasn't that impressed with them. The fellow there in Vegas is a true professional and has a great looking product, but I have more give with the factory shocks. Most folks love the Chopper Shox, so don't take my word on it. I then bought the 180 lb springs. They helped a little, but not much. The design of the factory shocks are more for looks. Notice the angle of the shocks. The factory spring set up is from Works Performance Products. Check them out online - there are a few more options.
In my quest to make my bike comfortable on trips longer than 100 miles, I finally went with an air ride set-up. Finishing everything today. Painting brackets and modified plate tomorrow. Pictures and review coming soon!

Hey Eric! Installing a pressure relief valve via a t-fitting this week. I will post some pics. Found part at Grainger for under $10. She's in the shop right now unfortunately... Wouldn't start. Battery was good, waiting to see what's up with VR, EHC or starter.:confused: Wish me luck.

Love the idea but not digging the look so much. Function over form I guess :D What kind of $$$$ are we talking? Would like to see a panned back image if you get a chance. Enjoy!
