When I install mine, I always make sure the suction cups are clean and so is the fender.
Now as far as your chrome sheilds Franco, I would suggest you start wearing cotton jeans instead of polyester and they won't melt on the pipes.:roll:

The exhaust chrome shields are showing some rough area, like if the jeans were burned in there? Could I use the "water & tinfoil" trick???
