08 Mastiff with 15+K. Only problem was a speedo that kept dropping off while going down the road. Thomas replaced it with a new one from BDM, no problems since

Another month and the scoot will be 4 years old, ride in the rain a lot with no waterproofing done and no major issues. Great Motorcycle!:2thumbs:

06 K9 15000 miles and I have caused, in one way or another, practically every issue I have had on the bike. Usually by letting someone else work on it.
Finally got through weeks of cleaning things up and straightening things out and I have my first 550 mile jaunt under my belt with ZERO issues. Well I do still have a super slow air ride leak but I already have a fix for that.
Next up the Redwood Run that will add up to about 18-1900 miles and I am fully expecting to have ZERO issues on that run as well. Thats the precursor to the 2010 Sturgis trip where I plan on putting somewhere around 5-6000 miles on my ride in about a five week period. You ready RAY?
While I have had my issues, when my Dog runs she runs with no problems. And like so many others on this site I have no desire to ride anything else.

I bought my 06 K9 on July 4th weekend 2006. I've got 14,500 miles on her.

Voltage regulator went out summer 2007. Dealer repaired it for under $200.00

Speedo would go haywire once you broke mach 1 (100mph). Needle would jump way up there 30 or 40 mph faster than you were actually going. When you would slow down to a stop the speedo would still read 20 or 30 mph even standing still. Dealer replaced under warranty.

Those have been the only issues I've had. That thing can sit for 5 months straight during the winter months and when I break her out in the spring, fires right up. My 05 harley would spit, cough and sneeze in anything under 55 degrees.

My only gripe is the seat. The bike feels like a dream the first 30-45 minutes and fits me like a glove (5'10" 30 inseam). After 45 minutes the stock seat is killing my ass but once I get it paid off I'll have a seat maker fix that.

The only other down side, pull into a parking lot with a bunch of rice rockets or harleys and you will be hated by 70% of them.

I have replaced the speedo, and Ech now running again. I do not ride in the rain unless caught in it. Like someone said earlier, everything else seems like a scooter. A quick little story that happened yesterday about the scooter. Ya'll know this feeling too. I rode it down town Nashville,Tn to deliver papers to someone and eat with my daughter. I parked it at a meter about a half block from where took the papers. There is nothing close by it, just kinda sitting there by itself. I came back out of the office and looked up the block and there was crowd of tourist looking people gathered around the scooter. I thought someone has sit on it and maybe dropped it or something. Then I realized they were just checking it out up close. Kinda a really neat thing, ay!

We eat at Hooters, my first time in the place. I moved it up the street to their scooter parking right in front. They had a good hamburger too, and scooter parking up front.

Ray,, agrees with all you folks that like the dogs over other stuff.

I've had my 2003 Chopper for two full seasons now. I've personally put 11,000 of the 21,000 miles on it. Love this bike. Its my everyday ride. Unless it snows or rains heavy. Then I take the Jeep.

I've changed the fluids three times, one battery (I wasn't paying attention, and the terminals were loose, and melted them. Im a dumb ass!) one back tire last year, and changing out the front brake pads on Saturday. THATS IT!
