Getting ready to re-new whos got the best coverage, and cheapest price. Wanted to hear from some of the members ,so I`ll know where to start looking. I have Nationwide now ,but paying too much.
Thanks
be carefull about getting the lowest price.. sometimes you get what you pay for.. I got everything insured with statefarm.. home, bussiness,& 9 vehicals.. @ the moment..
Progressive. But I'm probably over insured. 100-300-100 + 25k in medical it's running about $100 a month. Medical isn't cheap on a bike. I have three cars at AAA but their cycle INS isn't cheap. In fact they farm alot of it out to Progressive. With Progressive you can move your coverage around. I'll probably drop everything but comp and collision this winter. Should bring it down to about $50 a month.
It really depends on a bunch of factors, Such as where you live and driving record. My chop is w/ State farm in Iowa Full Coverage 300.00 for the YEAR. If it were in Jersey you could expect to pay 150-200 more
Progressive gave me the best deal. Don't remember what my coverage is right now, but $400+ a year for 2 bikes. I will never have State Farm. They had the worst rep of sticking it to people after Katrina. They tried not to pay me too...notice I said tried.
Switched from Nationwide to VA Farm Bureau on everything I have...saved me a bundle. They insure motorcycles through Dairyland and still give you the discounts. I highly recommend getting them to quote you.
I pay about 33-35 per month with state farm insurance in St. Charles County, MO. That probably includes discounts since I have my home and auto with them, but it should give you a good idea.
Before I switched to State Farm I was paying 35-40 per month in the St. Charles market with GMAC insurance.
