Stupid Things We Forget to Do

Ok, ok....did this yesterday. Start up bike, running great....take off in a cloud of thunder...then "putt,putt, cough, cough, sneeze" and engine dies. I forgot to turn on the fuel !! And it happens in front of a crowd. Damn!! Shit!! I know I"m not the only one that does stupid stuff ....anyone wanna share?

luckily, with just a little indention in the chrome. not too noticeable.

Yep call me a dumbass! I had a long weekend trip rode 650 miles and guess my brain was tired.

Same thing but I've forgotten maybe a hundred times.....:bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang: do I have to do a hundred of these head banging things??? :bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang: oh and of course it's ALWAYS in front of a crowd!!! :bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang: Permanent dent in the back of my caliper!

Since I turn the gas off at every stop to eliminate the chance of carb. dripping on the ground I have done this many times. If I'm lucky I can catch it before it stalls, but not always. Oh well...

Mine would was killing the battery within 30 minutes. Put it back on the charger (several times ), test load all was good. I Forgot to put the 40 Amp fuse in the fuse holder when I changed over from the CB to the Fuse Set up. Dam near got me a new Alternator Stator :bang:


I have also tried to show off one evening, the dog died at the end of the parking lot, No fuel forgot to turn it on :bang: so I came around and tried it again this time the clutch cable went so I just kept on going. Good thing I was about two blocks from the house.:lol::Lil:

Well mine was gettin about 3 miles from home without the helmet. Thought the ride was better than normal, adjusted the glasses and oh shit no lid.

7 speed bumps from my house to the highway.:bang: The wife and I leave in a hurry to meet with friends for a dinner run. After 4 speed bumps and 4 Woooo's from my passenger I asked are you ok? Wife says the ride is alot rougher than usual. :loony: Yep forgot the P-pad.
