On the road again. May only get in 3 or 400 miles today. A month on the road is taking its toll on our bodies.
Yesterday I got hit in the nose and busted up pretty good. Those things hurt at 90 or more!

We made it to just outside Tuscon. 500 or so miles today. Wind was hell! :argue:

We we left Big Springs and tried to keep it at 75 but that shit wasnt working. Felt like we werent getting anywhere so we kicked it up to 80 for a while and soon the speed limit changed to 80 and Kapt kicked it up to 90. We were finally getting somewhere!

Lots of troopers on the road and a couple of them turned around behind us but kept going so we kept going.

Didnt dress this wound up and after first gas stop I pulled my facemask off and it was stuck to my nose and ripped off the scab and started bleeding so Kapt fixed me up with a H type bandage. Just over 500 miles to Palm Springs tomorrow so we may go all the way in.

Bikes running great but high winds gave us poor gas milage. We are beat from being on the road for so long and still have many miles to go. :D

Hang in there guys! Doesn't look like it was a bird! (I saw a guy in Sturgis a few years ago who took a bird in the face. He was black and blue all over his nose and eyes and said he almost lost it on the bike with his wife on the back!)

AND if I can heal from 3rd degree carb backfire burns over most of my face and hands, Ray you will heal fast. Still no fun gittin' hit in the nose like that!).

And I can feel your pain with all that "friggin' wind"! It has been blowin' here in SW UT for 3 Damn days! When you hit Palm Springs hopefully you can "RELAX"!!

Great trip for you guys and great memories for the future!!

Thanks a bunch for sharing!
