EHC?

Yes Sorry, i should have called it a cam sensor. Pull your seat though first and look for a broken wire. You may have a short. It sounds like a wire came loose somewhere.
Do you have an alarm system on your Ridge?

TJ
No alarm, all stock. Everything's rewired now. I'm banking on it being a cam sensor now, coil next.

Well the EHC never lit up, that's why the switch to the Wire Plus. Cam and crank sensor the same thing? Regardless I'm ordering one today.

Anyone who needs an EHC can have mine no charge. It may work and it may not
I would like to have it let me know how much to ship and will send you the $$

Another round please
Was it the cam sensor? Mine went out, would crank over, but had no spark. Put a new one in and all was good.

Not trying to be a smart-ass but are you getting gas. There is a lot of problems with the liners coming out of the tanks and that could stop up a line.

Checked Can sensor, spitten out 3 volts. Coil seems good, stator good. For whatever reason the headlight dim and brights dont work with the Wireless Plus. What else could cause it not to spark?

According to my wiring diagrams you have a crank sensor, not a cam sensor. Where/how are you measuring "3 volts"? And what do you mean, "...the coil seems good..."?

As far as the dim lights I'd recheck ALL of the new connections made when you installed the WP...

Installed the Wire Plus, same symptoms, no spark at plug. Coil next? Cam Sensor? Another question, fired it up with the new ignition switch hanging. Does it need to be mounted to be grounded?
Oops! I just read this part of your post...

I'd check to see if your ignition switch has an internal short to ground. If it does it could be most if not all of your problem!

Just put the new one on as required by Wireless Plus. Red to power then white and blue to the new connectors on the wireless plus. I'm about ready to dump in the Stabil and call it a a year

We put a meter on the sensor and cranked her over, showed 3 volts. I have 12 volts at all connections on the coil. Checked each post to the towers and my bud said it was infinity whatever that means, which I'm told is ok

But if everything is fine when the switch isn't mounted there has to be a problem with it. Either the switch is no good or one of the connections touches ground when it is mounted...

How about the ignition module??? Anyone ever have one of them go out? Doesn't appear it can be tested.

Have you checked with Gateway Big Dog in St. Louis? I was in there yesterday (8-26-2010) and they said they have EHC units available.

Don't need one, thanks anyways, she's all done with the Wire Plus. So the update: I gave up and took her to Beezers, appears something may have spiked the voltage in the ignition module and fried it, hmmm, the EHC??? So I was halfway there. Problem is Bigdog doesn't appear to have any of those either, go figure. So we're possibly going with an alternative at Drag Specialties in hopes to be running by the weekend. Stay tuned.
