good work BB. How many shims you using? I use two with the easy pull ball & ramp. Two shims without that and you will have popeye arms.

that really surprises me with three shims. Mine was pretty bad with two shims before I put the easy pull ball & ramp in there. Aren't there different thickness shims though?

Came with 4 real thin then the rest were the same. I will probably take one out or two and put one thin one back.

Yup Bandit has springs BDM uses a preasure plate. Thats all that was wrong with mine..

the shims go in the spring cups and result in more pressure being applied to the pack. The greater the shimming the greater the pressure and the more torque it will take without slipping. However, the greater the pressure, the harder the pull at the lever.

Bandit clutches have been around for a long time. My 81 shovelhead has a Bandit clutch in it. Good parts fo sho!

Yup Bro you were right about the two shims, yanked her down today pulled two out and it's just right. Took her out and think I pulled the front wheel off going under I-95!!!!!
Nice day to ride but the freakin back is in a bad way so I headed back home after only one beer!! Eh have a butt in the smoker anyway!:2thumbs:
