Anyone have "Poison Ivy" Paint?

If anyone has a Poison Ivy Paint job, could you post a few pics? Finally found a deal on a K-9 and its this color. I'm one of those who doesnt do green but hoping after seeing a few different paint schemes with PI as the base, maybe it'll grow on me. :rolleyes: Thanks

I prefer a Cannabis paint scheme myself..!! Touching it won't make me itch nearly as bad. And I'll always know when it's 4:20.....!!!!

Just not sure I'll be able to sleep at night knowing theres a "lime" green creature in my garage. Thing is, the price is right but the guy is taking it to the sale monday morning so I've gotta decide today. Guess I'll run up and take a look at it. If I dont like it I can always step outside and hit a little cannabis then look at it again from a different perspective :loony:

When I bought my K9, there was also a poison ivy chopper on the showroom floor and, like Dawgboy said, the paint color changed from a darker (not lime) green to blue as the viewing angle changed. I was really tempted cause the paint looked especially awesome in the daylight but I was destined for the K9 and so the chopper ended up in the hands of another BDB member, PZNIVYCHOPPER. Its a personal choice, of course, but if the price was right, I would not hesitate to go with that color.......My 2 cents...YMMV

I just got back from looking at it and I cant do it. Its a beautiful bike and ready to go but its just not me. I'll go to the NPAuction next friday in Atlanta and I'll see what they have there. Hope fully not "lime green" ones. Thanks for all the input.

Sorry, bro. But that has GOT to be one of the most HIDEOUS looking paint jobs I've ever seen!!! Unless it was dirt-flippin cheap, DEFINITELY understand why you passed. Fuckin thing looks like a half-ripe lime (and I don't like them either!) :roll: :2thumbs::cheers:

The bike in the picture sure is not painted in poison ivy like you were told. It is painted in key lime. You made a good decision.

Thats NOT Poison Ivy, that is a FUGLY color !!!, goood job on the PASSSSSSSS, good luck at the auction in the ATL. :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Yeah I knew before going to look at it I probably wouldn't go for it but if I hadn't checked it out, I'd be sitting here wondering. I like being different but thats just a little too extreme for me. My ridin buds would never let me live that down :rolleyes:

Anyone ever find a pic of a bike with the poison ivy Paint? Came across one yesterday, but it's sitting on a trailer under a cover, couldn't see it in the light. Looks really cool aside from the fact that I hate green.. lol
