I was out ridding last night and got to where i was going and found i had no ignition key. It had fell out during the ride? I only have that key and my disk lock key on that ring so its not heavy. Had no way to turn off the bike untill i got home and got my spare. Had this happened to any one els? I have a 07 Mastiff.

So you don't have to have the key in the ignition for it to run? I would rather just take it out all together and put it back on my wallet chain.

Copy, then I would rather just put mine back on the chain and in my pocket.

Didn't know they pop out either... and I have the same chain as above. Perhaps I'll leave that on there now (instead of removing the ignition key) and just hook it to the bike.

This usually doesn't happen unless you have a key chain with an end that flapps in the wind. It wears out the key locking mechanism. I have a remove before flight streamer on my key ring that I tuck under the aft spark pulg wire and in-between the fins. My key stays locked in the switch and hasn't worn out yet...:D

ming did not come out at first ether but the locking mechanism must have worn out and by time you find out its too late.
