I have an uncle that lives in Uath. He is a retired machinist by trade. He make knives as a hobby. Gave me one for Christmas, and my dad just sent it to me.
I am not a big knife guy, I don't even carry one usually. But this is a piece of work. Real craftsmanship! The sheath is hand made out of saddle leather stiched and form fitted to the knife so it stays put. The knife blade is solid from front to back and the handle is epoxy cured bural (I think thats how it's spelled) wood. The rivits are not typical store bought rivits, they are actually tiny individual pieces of copper tubing and sold copper rod made into the design (sorry couldnt get a clearer pic that close up). He does a killer job on these knives. He makes several different kinds and designs all straight blade ( no folding blades), but in various handle materal and blade lengths. I should have taken some pics the last time I saw his selection. I told him he doesn't charge enough for them.
