I took the tail section of the supertrapps off ,I call it the muffler..used a pipe just a little smaller in diameter (slid down the exhaust pipe real easy)and with a 3 lbs hammer started punching the plugs out ,took more wacks than I thought it would, the length of pipe I used was about 2.5' long..needed to use a vise to get the pipe out each time..then turn the muffler upside down and shake the plug out...repeated three more times ..in my opinion and thats what it is.. plenty of back pressure still present.. subjectively, much better performance..would be very interested in dyno numbers before and after..sound was throaty loud ..completely different...very satisfied..whole thing with heatshields back on took about three hrs..but that was my first time which always takes longer
