Billet self dimming mirrors for motorcycles

Hi All,
Intense light reflecting off a rear-view mirror can make a ride at night unbearable. With the new Digital Auto- Dimming Mirror by AlphaMirror, high-intensity headlights are automatically dimmed away to protect the rider’s vision—without manual adjustment. The mirror’s sensors
adjust the tinting to the current lighting conditions, and improve vision in all weather.

The frame is made from 6061-T6 extruded billet aluminum that is polished and chrome plated. The entire mirror assembly is
manufactured to minimize vibration and is fully adjustable in every direction to match the preferences of just about any rider.

I will be happy to answer technical and general questions.

You can review it at Welcome to AlphaMirror and Alphamirror On-line Store

Thanks,
Happy new year to all

Please come in and introduce yourself and post pics of what you ride.

I ride alot at night, have not had much of an issue with this light thing, and when I did, just move a lil in the lane or speed up.

I am ok with what I have.

For some though, this may be a great solution

Remember on cars when the auto dimming first came out, everyone said why do I need that? Now, seems like it is standard issue on the inside rearview mirror.

Years from now it will be on bikes as standard equipment.

Time will tell.

Hi All,
My name is Yehuda, i manage the company that manufacture the mirrors.
I sow the posting here, and thought it will be a good idea to answer any questions in person.
If you plan to visit the V-Twin show please stop and come to see the mirrors and after that ... we will see :)
they look amazing and if you will put them near any mirror that available today you will see it right away.

And sorry i didn't introduce myself prior, i am quite new to the forum idea!
my main goal is to answer any question and receive your feedback good or bad.

I will try to post some pictures.

Yehuda, with the Biker crowd, you will need to offer many styles of mirrors, none of us want to see the same mirror on many bikes. I for one like flames, others like everything else. Use your technology to help riders buy your cool product. Variety is the spice we want. Check out other mirror web sites.

Cool site.

Also gotta say, the colored lenses are kinda Gay.

Thanks for the feedback!
* The show is in Cincy!

We do plan to introduce addtional shaps and designs, it may take some time but we will. As said it is hard to fit everyone taste.

The lens color is sharp, hope you will have the chance to see it in person one day. The Amber color is very close to neutral and at night when the mirror dims you can see in details.

to anyone asking what is my main goal, yes its to sale!
But first i need your feedback, so today i wish to answer question and get feedback.
and thanks for everyone that gives honest replay !!!

Question - please help!

When you purchase a mirror do you care if the mirror is from Billet or Die-Cast?
There is a big difference in the price and your feedback will help for the next product we plan.

Personally, If I were trying to sell these mirrors, I'd be marketing these to the guys that buy the Honda Goldwing touring bikes. Seems like this is an accessory that they'd want.

It's a lot harder sell this type of add on to guys that ride our style of motorcycle.

I'd also try the HOG site. ( Harley owners Group ) There are probably a lot there that may be interested.

If I was riding an ultra or goldwing across country, this might just be something I'd bolt on but, not for my big dog.

Anyway, I hope that helps. That's just my two cents worth of input.
