Cruise Control Problem-HD

Hi Guys...Looking for some help here.
2005 Road King Classic.
Riding down the road at about 60mph with the cruise on. The bike starts to accelerate by itself. I quickly turn it off with the left on/off switch and the system shuts down.
Now when I turn the switch on the red light in the speedo comes on but the cruise will not engage when I try to activate it with the right hand switch. Any ideas? The cables are fine and adjusted properly and the system is energizing as the dash light comes on. Hate to take it to the stealer if I don't have to.
Thanks,
Don

Thats the system Harley started putting in their rides in 04 that is telling you to

"Go get on your Big Dog"

No I have one for the 05. I was just looking for suggestions if anyone has had a similar problem. I double checked the fuse as Rub suggested but there is only one that is brake/cruise combo. All fuses are good as well. My next step will be to re-initialize the cable lash adjustment in case something got wacked out there. Thanks for the offer on the manual.:2thumbs:

Thanks Earl. I've been reading a lot of posts and they all seem to agree the resume switch can be problematic on these. It's only about $35 from what I can see so if it works it will be a cheap fix.:2thumbs:
