I am looking to replace my 03 Pit with an 05 Pit. Just dig the look of the 02-05 pits and want the next generation engine components etc that the 05 offers. Curious though as to what to look for/issues when purchasing. I know there are some rocker box/head issues to be considered but not perfectly clear. I know I could search this but dont have a great deal of time and would like to have it in one location! Thanks in advance and appreciate any and all input!

I have an '05 pit and love it, but I'm pretty sure they all come with the TP rocker boxes/roller rockers. Mine have definitely given me problems but I just don't have an extra grand laying around to put S&S RB/RR. Other than that, I recently put the Wire Plus on my bike. No problems with my EHC, but just some extra assurance that I won't get left on the side of the road due to electrical problems.

Lightweight, why would you do that? There are so many more options with the 03's. With the money if you are looking for more horse punch out the 107.

KEEP THE 03!!! 107 Rocks!!! I love mine, and would never sell it. Although I am currently looking for another Big Dog, it would be an addition, rather than a replacement. Best of luck...
