anyone know why the ridgeback doesnt have a Dog name?

That is a breed. The Rhodesian Ridgeback (named for the patch of hair that stands up or grows in a different direction on the dogs back)

Perfect name for a ridgid frame bike!

I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback / Pitbull cross. Beautiful black dog with brown brindle stripes. Has the thickness of a pit, but the height of a ridgeeback with the spiked mane when there pissed! I miss that girl!!! :2thumbs:

My first Rhodesian Ridgeback "Sweet Jane" my she rest in peace. Had her for a wonder 13 years.

My current Rhodesian Ridgeback "Tori". This is my favorite breed of dog, so much so I nearly got the motorcycle, wanted shocks so I got the K9, which actually is not a breed of dog, oh and the Chopper aint a breed either. Canine is a genus or species classification, not a breed. I will always own a Ridgeback hound, they are wonderful dogs. Good question RIDER.

I have always had Rottweilers too, my saying was Jane could WHOOP twice her weight in Rottweilers, here she is showing my big male rott how it's done. Fun play here, no animals were injured in this photo, maybe embarrassed, but not injured.
