Photo Op!

OK. Kind of weird. This is the second time this has happened.

I am rolling down the highway on the Chopper and something feels weird. An SUV is pacing me in the lane next to me. As I look closer the passenger is videoing me rolling down the road. Like I said, this has happened twice now, in different cities, both people I do not know.

Am I just now observing the video generation, or do I look the part and they think I am somebody (I am somebody , yeah, I know, but not like famous).

I am used to questions when I stop for gas or at a light, but this seems way different.

Has this happened to other members?

All the time ... I even got flash once ... just like the BigDog commercial ... stuff happens ... people just love the look and sound of our BigDogs ... I tell them to just look ... no touch ... but that depends who's askin .... lol :up:

never video that i know of but lots of pictures while rolln,some even ask before they do,as far as flashing thats happened a few times,the one that got me was the the woman who started well lets say rubbing herself.that was too crazy:loony::2thumbs:

right after I got my dog.. I took it on its 1st out of state trip pcb... had several girls in a jeep ride up on me & remove there shirts. woohoo. damm I love big, young,perky, tits......:2thumbs: I come back to my ride to almost always find someone takin picts & asking questions...:2thumbs:

Got flashed by 2 chicks in a convertible on Friday. I've noticed people taking pictures in the past, but video is a new one.

The first time it happened I was on a two lane highway. I was cruising and a mustang was following me. I see him in the rear view mirror, but just barely as my mirrors are pretty small. He comes up in the left hand lane holding a video camera out the passenger window slowly passing me.

I just look over fairly dumbfounded at what is happening.

After pacing me a bit he speeds up to get in front of me, then slows down so I will pass him. Now I am not so happy as he has put me in danger as now other cars are passing us.

I see an opening, down shift and pass. He videos all he can. I leave with the other traffic and never see him again.

At least this past time it was a non event.

All the time, pic's, video or sometimes just hanging out the window waving, get used to it or sell it and buy a bike that dosen't get noticed becouse everyone else has one just like it

Yep get use to it, it's common! This stupid gal almost rear ended the car in front of her while snapping shots of me on with her cell phone. I just laughed and shook my head and went on my marry way...

Actually this past weekend had a real interesting dialogue with some other bikers. A couple of us had gone to a bar and there is roped off parking in front for bikes. We parked next to a couple of HD's and a Honda. One of the HD boys and the Honda guy and us start talking about the bikes. HD and Honda are commenting on how uncomfortable it must be to ride a chopper and it must only be a bar hopper and all that money for a motorcycle that is really no different than theirs.

Well I let one of the guys sit on it to demonstrate just how good the ergonomics are and while he is doing this a nice looking girl getting ready to go into the bar comes over and wants a pic with the bike. I tell her to get on the back with this guy and I will take their pic. Well she decides to start flashing. Now Mr. HD is impressed! Then her two friends join her and Mr. Honda and HD all want their pics taken on the bike with these girls.

On two other occasions that night, different girls wanted pics on the chopper, all while the other motorcyclists are standing nearby. By the end of the night I have three other motorcyclists wanting to know where the dealer is located and do they take trade-ins.

Apparently women don't show the same interest in the stock Honda's and HD's. As one of the guys stated, "I've been riding for 20 years and have never received as much attention as I did in 20 seconds on your bike!"

Seems to be something about the "DOG" that attracts attention (as if we didn't already know)!!!

When I was bringing mine home on the trailer after I got it we had one car pull up beside us and the guys were waving and I didn't know what they were signaling, and then the guy points to his camera and back to the trailer as if to ask if it was ok. I gave him the thumbs up and they backed up and snapped away. What is really distracting is like you said, when you are cruising down the road and people pull up and you feel like someone is watching you and you look over and everyone in the car is smiling and giving you the thumbs up. I was on the service road on I-35 yesterday and a car over on the interstate pulls up then hits their brakes and backs up even with me, I glance over and about a 70 year old lady is in the passenger seat giving me a thumbs up too.

Guess they all love the dogs, young and old, male and female, white, black, brown, doesn't matter...they all know what is bad ass!!!!

Shortly after I bought the Dog, cruising Daytona, stopped at a light......had no idea until looked to the left.....three Asians hanging out the windows of their car with cameras pointed at me. Made me laugh. I know I'm not that photogenic so it had to be the bike. :lol::lol::lol:

You'll get videoed and your picture taken a lot on a big dog. Sorry to say, it's not you they are taking the picture of, it's the bike!

'Cept mine is not even a BDM. It's an American Ironhorse. Maybe it is due to it being rarer than a K-9 as they only made the model I have for half a year before they failed again.

Sat on the deck at Hog's Breath in Destin, FL one night and had several people "pose" next to my bike for pictures. Was ready with a beer bottle for the first dipshit that thought he might sit on it for a picture!
