Knot I like your weather indicator is that real time 49 deg

To answer your question the rear tire wears evenly....
Yeah the weather indicator is as it currently is.
There are many diss styles. Want the linky?

The bike leaning thing. I can let go and stretch both arms way out to the side at 60-70mph and track straight. No way that is happening on my HD, The Kaptin is correct on this issue.

Take your wallet out of your right pocket and put it in your left!!!

Problem fixed and you should get a few more miles out of the other side of the tire!!!!

Roll up your left pant leg too. It helps deflect the wind causing you to lean more to that side.

So the right side of the tire is worn more than the left side?? Id check the wheel bearings. If they are worn, then the wheel will not ride true as it is supposed to. You're going to replace the tire anyway why not spend a few dollars and junk the cheap Chinese ones that came with the bike and properly install some quality bearings in their place. If the tire was out of balance, one would see and feel some shaking at various speeds as well as unusual tire wear around the circumfrence of the tire, like cupping. You can feel this if you run your hand over the tire and feel for un-even wear. Id start with the bearings though...how many miles do you have on them?

yeah I figure i will just flip the wheel around and let it track on the un-worn side and get a few more miles out of it....

Just bought my 04 chopper and the front tire looks just like yours. I also get a bad woble at highway speed. Never rode a chopper before and I was hoping this can be fixed. My last bike was a Duece and it handled perfect, just felt too small for me. I love my new Big Dog just want it to be safe.

How many miles are on your chop?

How many miles are on your chop?
16k not sure how many tires have been on it.
First thing you can do to help that tire out, or replace it, is use Dyna Beads. You can run them with or without your wheel weights but without the weights has worked best for me. Next questions are:

With 14,000 miles has your fork oil been changed?
Should be changed every 10,000

Have your wheel bearings been checked?
Any grinding or play in them then replace

Have the forks been rebuilt, i.e. new seals, bushings e.t.c.?
At each change, especially if your havin front end problems, the bushings and seals chould be checked. If there bad then replace.

Have you gone through the front end and retorqued ALL fasteners to make sure nothin is loose?

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna contact the guy I bought it from, ask him some of these questions and look into it myself. I did what you said by putting it against the wall and I think it helped some. I have to take for a longer ride to tell for sure.

Update. Took it for nice ride today 80% better. The pinch bolts on the lower trees where too tight. Torqed them to 16 flb. Ordered a new cobra tire and dyna beads should get me almost to 100% . Even with the half worn tire I can let go of the bars and stay strait. Thanks again for your help.
