Ordering Big Dog parts

I would like to order some parts/accessories for my 2008 Big Dog Mutt and I was wondering where I should go to get them.

I need:

Clevis kit
18" Sissy bar kit with struts
Back pad
Big Dog mounting plate for back pad
2 up seat
Banded peg set
Battery tender

Should I go direct to Big Dog or order from somewhere else? I noticed Big Dog has the sissy bar kit as a backordered item and I'd like to get it ASAP.

don't go thru bd dealer for the sissybar like i did i ordered my sissy bar march 3 and the dealer said be in a couple weeks and still don't have it but everytime i call to see if it is in they tell me that bd said they will send it out next week. buy one off ebay it will have mrks where the backrest was. BD said there chromer was back up on chrome parts

I had a 12" bar on order for Coyote from my local dealer for over 2 months, when I finally got disgusted and canceled the order. I got on the phone and started calling BD dealers and found one in stock at Iron Lightning in Tulsa, had it in 2 days. What I am saying, is that if you want one now, and you find one, get it!

Thanks. I think I'll call around to different dealers and see if they have one in stock. I tried Ebay and I don't even see that many parts listed on there anymore. A few months ago there were several offerings from several different vendors on Ebay. I guess it is a sign of the times? I better get these parts ASAP.

I was at Crusin 66 Cycles (or whatever their name is) today in Springfield. I was talking to Wes there. He said someone was waiting for a sissy bar. It must have been you. Another guy had been waiting a week and a half for his front fork tubes also.
