Hello all,

I have a rear mount BDM 18" sissy bar(does not include struts)for sale off of my 2004 Chopper. I'm sure it will fit other models as well. Nice condition. Price is $200.

Thanks, Paul

I liked the 18" bar alot. However, my wife is only 5'2" and she didn't like where the pad was located against her back. With the 12" bar, the pad is more or less right above the small of her back. This is more comfortable for her. Personally, I prefer the look of the 18" bar w/o the pad. See pic.

Also, the 18" bar I'm selling does not include the pad.
Thanks, Paul

You have another 18" sissybar? Didn’t we just recently trade my 12" for an 18" that you had? Anyway it was a pleasant experience dealing with Paul and the transaction went smoothly.:2thumbs:

What good is it without the struts????
when I purchased my '04 Chopper(used), it had the struts but no bar. Maybe, just maybe, my bike is not the only one in existence that had the struts mounted w/ no sissy bar installed. Some less than honest dealers are notorious for removing items from bikes they take in and selling the parts on ebay or craigs list.

anyone else feel the need to jack this thread???? geeeeeez!

Waycool, in answer to your question, the 18" bar I traded you was off my bike. The 18" bar I have now, I purchased after our trade. BTW, it was a great experience dealing with you as well!
Thanks, Paul

Hey Zip,
I did some research and you are the only one that purchased a bike with sissy bar struts, but no sissy bar. Sure wish mine came like that! I think the point that Hippy is making is that you need to be sure you have the right struts to accept the rear loading sissy bar. Some new guys may think that the sissy bar is all they need for installation.
