VOES, Vacuum Operated Electrical Switch. It senses manifold pressure and makes a slight adjustment accordingly and helps to eliminate spark knock under light load and throttle roll-on.

Twin Tec utilizes a VOES system on their ignition. May only need it if you change out your ignition and that depends on the manufacture requirements.

Your BDM EHC takes care of everything at this point.

And we've seen how WELL that works! But seriously, there is no knock sensor feed on the EHC nor ignition module, so a VOES is not an option with the stock ignition.

All the aftermarket ignitions talked up here on the boards provide a input line for a VOES if one is installed.

I get some pinging on my 107 on hot days with iffy gas and I get on the throttle. Not bad enough to add a sensor, but my Dyna 2000i ignition has a feed for one.

yea you can ground it for race applications.

i think :)eek:) it gives full advance at a lower rpm.

otherwise just leave it unconnected which i did.
