04 Mastiff-No spark, changed Cam sensor May be Bad EHC- Advice Needed

Unfortunately, your EHC is heading south. Your battery voltage is a little low on your battery, but with the key on and run button pushed, there should be 12+ volts at both the coil and ignition module.
Thanks, I replaced the Battery with an HD Soft tail and yeah, it's still doing the same thing. I'm about to PM Jake for a wire+ and be done with this. It's eating me up all this sun and the bike just sitting there.

Had the same symptons on my 04 chopper and I agree with the others on the the ehc heading south, however check the how to section "How to Bypass your EHC to power your ignition" moespeeds posted a quick fix for this that should get you going until you get the wp installed..(assuming the ehc holds out)......just a sugesstion

Will do, thanks!

I've already got a wire+ on it's way. I ordered one from Jake this morning.

Hey guys, Finally I got 'er running last night. It turned out to be the EHC after all. Bought a Wire + from Jake and installed it (Piece of Cake), modified my key switch and she started on the first crank; boy what a feelin'. I do like the feature with the three position switch that allows me to kill all the running lights, never know when you might need to run dark.
Anyhow, The way I figure it is I probably could have prevented the EHC failure in the first place by keeping a full charge at all times but none the less BMD should have manufactured a smarter module that would prevent componet failuer due to low voltage. It's a lesson learned and a problem I'm happy to say I won't have to face again. End of the day I'm now running with a new cam sensor, two new batteries and a wire +.

Thanks to all who helped me out on this one and thanks to Jake ( | | LOW DOWN CHOP SHOP | Big, Dog, Parts, New, Some - Low Down Chop Shop )for coming through with what I needed in no time.

Dude! You didn't tell me you had a flashlight battery!!!
Get some amps and try it again before you waste any money on another EHC or WirePlus...

That's some funny shit there Dennis!

Escobar - Glad you sorted out the issue. You'll be a happier person now w/ Wire-Plus. Good job.

Okay got my WP on the way I am having similar symptoms. 1*** Where is the coil on a 04 pitbull? How do I check it?
2*** changed the sensor as well, and turned the plate and had the red light on the thunder heart ignition lit up for a few minutes now it will not light up no matter what
I do.. Maybe it's a bad cam sensor the sensor I changed it with was not new so it could be bad.
Any help here would be great,, I have a WP being shipped but would like to identify the problem before changing anything else in the bike.
