Congrats Tim!....Good lookin machine. I was going to try to ride up to the grand opening but because of my bad knee I could barely get my right foot up from the ground to rest on the peg w/o a huge jolt of pain. I had to go inside and ice it after the attempt. I had a feeling you were going to pull the trigger. Was Danny or Jeff you salesman?

Scot was my salesman, but Jeff went over the "commitment" with me. I did see Jeff's ridgeback... that is a bad ass bike he has.

Here are some daylight shots, just before it rained. I did get it cleaned up a little.

You got a picture of my bike with the other pipes still on. Sorry you couldn't make the ride. We'll have to hook up real soon.

It rained shortly after I took the pictures so, I didn't get to ride before I had to leave for work. :(

Thanks everyone... but I'm still blaming all of you guys.

It originally had some MGS pipes (never heard of them). They were basically drag pipes that turned up by the passenger. I asked to go back to stock, but the techs didn't have time to replace the pipes and change the jetting so, they swapped out the pipes for a set of Supertrapp Mean Mothers. They didn't charge me a dime for the swap.

The Mean Mothers sound great and are not too loud.

The color hooked me. And since it had the wheels that I wanted and it was the bike for me. The orange looks so damn good, and I love the racing stripes.

I opted for the extended warranty so, I'm covered for 4 years.
Congratulations, I am glad you finally got the bike you wanted. MGS pipes are by Mike Stafford--a pretty famous builder. I have a set of his thunderstorm pipes (loud as hell). Here is the link.

Good luck it is great looking.

:bang: It's gonna be a long month for that boy !!!........
Yeah, I'm up to 5 weeks now. Crew change is every other week and we were a special case crew change due to new operations starting. That extra week will pay for the 2-up seat, sissy bar and passenger pegs.

I'm trying to look at the bright side.

yea, i remember just looking in the garage all hours of the night!

better get a good garage seat. :2thumbs:
My girlfriend doesn't allow smoking in the house so, I sit in the "smoking area" in the garage and just stared at it for a while on Saturday night and Sunday.

Great looking bike, BBH - those wheels are chrome, aren't they? If so, now ya got one up on yer buddy Raywood! :D

That SS 117 on the tank will answer one of the most common questions you will get.

I could sense from the last few posts that you were weakening. It's ok - most of us have a buddy we can blame it on.

Congratulations - you'll love how it rides!

Sadly the wheels are just polished. Chrome maybe in the future, or maybe some powder coating.

I was weakening a little, but when I saw her I couldn't take my eyes off of her. The paint and wheels, along with the price, had me sold on her.
