Before you ask “yes I searched” anyone know if or what model Harley Lowers may fit?? I have to change my uppers and lowers but don’t have a big budget. I don’t want to re chrome and re build the BDM POS’s.
Nay help would be appreciated.
I’m taking my caliper side to my local show to try to match them up, he has several lowers in stock.

HD lowers have all the bosses on them and look like crap compared to your BDM ones.

But any 41mm units will work

I know they don't look as good but you don't have to take them all the way off just to change the fluids. Thats nuts in my opinion.

I knew you would know!!! Hell I don’t sit still long enough to notice them!!! (I wish).
Just put new rubber on the Ultra. Monday when I rode the chopper the seal on the left side finally let go the rest of the way. Chrome on the lowers is shit and the uppers are all pitted.:bang:

Yeah, mine too but thats going to happen with all the miles you put on the bike from the sand on the road and other debrie no matter what style forks you have.

Shovelhead has a set of forks for auction on eBay. Compare your HD lowers to your BDM ones and see what the difference is. Your BDM lowers are way better in style at least.

Bushing and seals are easy to replace. Even your ole crippled azz can do it!!!! :whoop:

I agree!! Plus easy to get parts!
This might be something for one of our machinist to figure out. Maybe the bottom of the fork unit can be drilled and tapped for a drain hole without too much problem.

The only difference is the lenght of the fork tubes and they can be cut down two inchs to match yours.

Mine are shot too, pitted and peeling but then again I'm not fixing mine as they will just get that way again.

Kind of like washing my bike. My buddy is always giving me hell about it.

I say "why wash it when it will just get dirty again tomorrow in this rain".

His comment............ Do you wipe your ass?????:angry: He says its just going to get dirty again tomorrow!!!! :loony:

I've tought about that myself Ray about having the lower legs drilled and tapped to make changing the fluids a whole lot easier. and your buddy's got a point.
