carb for k9

anyone know specifically what kind of carb is on my 09 k9? looking for an intake .

You may get asked if the engine is a "EVO" style which is yes and no. Its a S&S super Sidewinder "Plus". Evo lower end and Twin cam style top end. This has a affect on the top end breathing. You engine does not breath thru the carb backing plate bolts. It breaths thru two vent lines on the top of each cylinder. large line with check valve on the rear that attaches to the air cleaner backing plate and smaller line that attaches to the intake manifold.

You might call Big Dog on that cause the intake is different.. cause of the jug length but then call S&S and order as if I remember was 90 bucks from Big Dog and 30 shipped from S&S

Some like the D&M and some go for the wimmer. But any thing you do make sure you use a support bracket.

Get the old classing S & S teardrop!!! U can pick them up used on clubchopper for next to nothin!!!! And they actually work!!
