What kind of paint does it have on it and are there any problems/scratches/imperfections on the bike? Are there any upgrades at all on the bike? Pipes?/pegs/grips/air cleaner/engine mods/seat etc. etc.

Yup, what jwolf said - at that age, it really depends a lot on the condition and the mods.

It's got pipes, I don't know what kind but have seen them before for about $750. The paint is solid with silver ghost flames. There is an extra seat, no name listed. Looks like that's it for mods. The condition is listed as "Perfect" but I have not see it yet.

I'm pretty familiar with the 05+ models - Ridgeback, Choppre/K9, Pitbull and Mastiff specs and values. I haven't really followed the pre 2005 Big Dogs let alone a 03 Bull Dog. That's why I'm trying to get everyones opionion before I even decide if this one is worth my time.

Thanks in advance!

Personally, if it doesn't really flip your wig, wait for one that does. One will come along.

NADA shows low retail at $14,500
V.
Yea, I saw that. It lists my 05 Ridgeback at $16,015 Low Retail:job:. I know the market come spring time will be at or higher than the $20,070 Average Retail with a exhaust system and 1,500 miles on it. Sometimes comparing NADA to Market Price gives you two totally different numbers.

So far, this is what I have found as a comparison:
04 w/ 800 miles, Solid Black, Perfect and Stock $16,850
02 w/ 3,000 miles, Solid Black, probably $2k in upgrades $22,000
05 w/ 5,000 miles, Stage II or III paint, $3k in upgrades $29,000

I hear ya! I have my pride and joy - my silver 05 RB. That's my baby for now. Flipping bikes is a side hobby. I have done a ton of metrics / harleys and have just recently (a few months ago gotten into the BDM market). I'm still learning everything I possible can. I think Oscar said it best a few weeks ago with his post on too many threads. I can't keep up some days with you guys:lol: .

I agree with what jwoolf just said wait for the one that JUMPS out at ya because if ya dont ya might not be satisfied with it in the long run. I originally had an '02 Pitbull, with a nice skull paint job and sold it last year for $16,000. Of coarse each bike is worth what the Looker at the time is willing to pay for it. Then when the '05 Pitbull came out with the right hand drive I had to have it. So I JUMPED and had 2 for a while. good luck hunting for your bike.
