I made this up so that my bracket would fit. Just took some stainless and cut it to work. Took like 15 minutes, otherwise I might have been bent. Took longer to bench it up to shine.:2thumbs:

Wife's foot get's a little warm, but we've been watching it, we rode 150 miles yesterday and so far so good.

I was wondering about this. Looks like it is aimed right at passengers leg. It looks GREAT :2thumbs:

I'm thinking about having a set of custom pipes made by these guys.

How often are you polishing the pipes to keep them looking lke chrome?
I'm guessing it has to be done every ride. How long does it take if you do it that often?

TCal, I gave up on mine. It's a pain if you ride a lot in the weather I ride in. Otherwise it's probably not to bad but I'm sure it would be easier if you had access to a buffer machine. I could use one.

As for Clint's business I guess he stays pretty busy as my first set of pipes didn't fit at all but to his defense I ordered them in 04 when the BD/Baker DSSC RSD system came out so not many companies had this new setup. My last set of pipes were supposed to be ceramic coated but they forgot so I said the hell with it and just ran them as they are.
While I like the pipes I can't get them to sustain the miles I do. I've had each of them welded up so many times now with broken brackets and mounts. But they are nice pipes overall.
2 of my 7 sets I have used!!!

Have you seen anything new out? I like the pipes I have now but I can't stand the bluing. I would like to find something different that has heat shields. I want chrome and it seems the options are very limited
