Cable Life......

I just picked up 2 cans of the Cable Life, cable lube......this is the same stuff that Gas Man uses, and he told me about the product. I went to their web site and they said Wal Mart in Port Huron, MI. had it....but I went there and they didn't...so I picked up 2 smaller cans...6.25 oz. for $3.95 a piece at Gilberts Harley Davidson in Port Huron, MI.

I would use something thats actually made for the cables......but that is just my opinion.....

WD-40 does collect crud.....but alot of people use it for different things....I prefer to use stuff thats made for cables...and its not that much $

The cable life is a dry lube. Meaning it doesn't stay around, collect and therefor become sticky and get dirty like they said. Think of white lithium spray. It looks good at first then it gets dirty and collects everything. Well you don't want that in your cables.
