check out lowdownchopshop.com for some spike stuff.

i also make a replacment peg clevis if you would like to mount a standard peg. it allows you to mount any pegs made for a harley.

cough...cav probably using my yankee motor mount for his mock up... cough

Pegs... go with the clevis from cav and you can then use any HD pegs. but my suggestion is to go with a peg with rubber on them... it helps alot... unless you're a hard ass like P8riot!!! :D

Grips... you're limited to BDM stuff, but you can make the pegs and grips match that way.

Seriously, the simple answer is good boots with thick rubber soles - and it's easier to replace the boots than worn out rubber pegs. Likewise, I always wear good riding gloves, or I would be more inclined toward other grips.

I am new to the group but have had my Dog for 2 1/2 years. I am getting Big Dog ACCU Spike Grips from Big Dog Motorcycle Grips and have never changed grips out. Does anyone have any instructions or hints? The matching pegs should be and easy install. Thanks for any input.
