I always wondered how that set up worked.....you just flip the lever and it locks the throttle ?

yep.. its cold here so I've only used it to warm it up in the shop.. seems to work well
I ordered one of those things and they didnt have enough pitchers for me so I quess I`ll have to wait till we see each other in Panamma and you can install mine

Looks good. I love mine. I'm still getting used to getting up enough balls to take my hand off the throttle when I'm flying down the freeway at 65 though.

The only part of the install that gave me a little grief was the little spring clip on the throttle cable. The idle cable side popped right off. The throttle clip eventually cut loose and wanged accross the garage into oblivion. Had to go to the local HD dealer and get a new one. They are so small, the parts dude had to tape them to a buisness card so they didn't get lost before I got back home.

It's a very well made piece and very easy to use.

I've been using the stock screw for long rides and it sucks major ass. It's definitely ballsee to ride with it and doesn't always stick. Let us know if the cruise-mate works well on the highway cause it would be nice to rest my right arm every once and a while!

I just checked out the website

Motorcycle Throttle Lock / Cruise Control

Looks pretty cool.

Free shipping, free drill bit, and free tap with the order for $80. I might have to get one of these.

Does anyone else have one of these? Do you use it on the road?

Most of us already have it. Many long threads on it's great use on here. Check out the "Group Buy" section for them.

This is not just a comfort control to ride down the road; it’s a great device to warm your bike up. Most of us here know a quick ride can blow base gaskets and head gaskets fast. Not ready to just stand around holding the throttle to warm it up. Also using the fuel enrichener will destroy spark plugs but this is the answer. Money well spent Eric!:2thumbs:

Good God Almighty Eric!!! :spank: I'm with Gas on this one. Hell, I have to wear reading glasses as it is. I thought it was one of those visual puzzles that you have to squint to see the hidden picture. My dog is still in Baton Rouge in the hands of the "artist". Talk about a strange breed? No offense Ed! All I hear is....."you don't want to rush him". WTF. Anyway, my Cruise Mate is sitting at the house waiting on my dog to get back to the kennel. Yours looks good! Well, the last picture anyway.:cheers:
