It depends on the the heads. If your heads use the Evo style boxes the Harley Evo boxes will fit. You may have to do some clearancing for the rocker arms so they don't hit if you are using the TP style boxes the HD Twin cam boxes should fit with the same attention to rocker arm clearance.

The boxes will fit,BUTTTTTTTTTTTT:angry:
Twin Cam boxes, because of their breather system, will cause oil leaks on the 4 1/8" bore motors, also as mentioned, you would need to grind valve train clearence.
No provision for auto comp.releases.
Evo boxes will fit the 4" bore motors, but you'll need to grind the hell out of the valve spring area.Rocker shaft area is also weak.
It "ain't" worth the trouble.

That appears to be the truth, but with 60k on Rays motor and others having good luck"for the most part" I"ve decide to leave my TP boxes till there is a problem.

Yeah that was my plan but if an arm break or a valve your gona eat a motor. Im pulling my covers off again and taking a look next weekend. Cant do it today back has been out for three days.:bang:

I have 12k on mine.

I wonder if its better to leave the adjustment a little loose (noisy) then going the extra qtr turn like the manual says to do if they are noisy???

3K on mine but this doesn't mean it is or isn't wearing abnormally until I inspect it! Funny,I was starting to tear into it today. First I pulled the BR exhaust off and pulled the baffles-found the bottom baffle was falling out!! Explains the crackling noise on deceleration. Still I Think if the wear is true, I will put a 600 cam in and continue to use the TP boxs-plus a couple of shop tricks. Long ways to go for winter in upstate NY.
